It can be a challenge to play long hours without feeling a bit drowsy- albeit the game is short- because the game's music is too mellow and a little boring. However, the camera movement isn’t fluid, so it can hurt a player’s eyes if you play for hours. Exploration is also easy since you can double jump, latch on walls momentarily, and jump from one wall to another. The controls are just as simple, with WASD for movement, E for engaging with NPCs and entering doors, mouse for aiming, left-click to use a normal gun, and right-click to use missiles. However vague the story is, the game is pretty straightforward, as you essentially just have to explore the area and talk to non-playable characters to find out what they need. Pixel Manifesto introduces you to an outer space-like universe with quirky characters in futuristic space suits, and monsters ranging from weird-looking aliens to something as basic as birds and ghosts. ![]()
